First Use

Before using your DW079LG laser for the first time:

1. Charge the battery Fully charge the included 20V MAX battery before first use.
2. Install the battery Insert it into the laser until it clicks into place.
3. Check calibration Test the level on a known flat surface before first professional use.
4. Test the detector Turn on the laser in rotary mode and confirm the detector picks up the beam at the desired distance.

Regular Maintenance

After each use:

• Wipe the laser lens with a soft cloth.
• Store the kit in the TSTAK case to protect it from dust and impacts.

Battery care:

• Remove the battery between extended periods of non-use.
• Store the battery at room temperature to preserve its runtime.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Clean the lens Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth, never solvent.
