Diablo's innovative carbide-tipped saw blade for wood and metal is the first general-purpose saw blade on the market capable of cutting both clean wood and wood with nails up to 50 mm thick, as well as metal with a wall thickness of 2.4 to 6.4 mm and a diameter of 6.4 to 25.4 mm. The versatility of these new blades means the same blade can be used to cut both wood and metal, allowing users to focus more effectively on their work instead of wasting time changing tools and blades. The Diablo-made TiCo carbide tips, specially designed for this blade, combined with the Alternate Top Bevel (C-ATB) tooth grind, provide impact resistance for cutting wood with nails and sufficient durability for clean, burr-free cuts in metal. Optimized for both corded and cordless saws, this new blade cuts 50 mm thick lumber, nail-embedded wood, angle iron, C-channels, flat bar, steel studs, and threaded rod.
