The XGT tool and battery range has an integrated program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing the battery not only to communicate with the tool, but also for the tool to communicate with the battery. The TW001GZ is a compact, cordless impact wrench powered by a 40V max XGT Li-ion battery (not included) to provide power to the robust 40V brushless motor. It features trigger-controlled variable speed, delivering up to 2,500 IPM, 1,800 RPM, a maximum pulling torque of 1,800 Nm, and a nut-breaking torque of 2,050 Nm for high torque and robust continuous performance. Applications: The TW001GZ is equipped with an electric brake to stop rotation smoothly yet quickly for increased operator safety, forward and reverse rotation, electronic 4-stage impact power selection for maximum, hard, medium, and soft settings, and a dual LED work light with pre-glow and post-glow. The TW001GZ has a trigger switch with a full-speed mode. The variable speed mode can be switched to full-speed mode with the push of a button. The trigger stroke is shorter in full-speed mode, so maximum speed is reached more quickly, and the automatic stop system is available in both forward and reverse rotations. The TW001GZ stops once the bolt/nut is sufficiently loosened. It comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, which can be extended to 2 additional years upon registration within 30 days of purchase. This warranty does not apply when non-genuine or non-recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool. Using non-genuine or non-compatible Makita batteries and chargers will void the Makita warranty for our tools.
