Permatex thread sealants
Permatex thread sealants ensure the sealing and fastening of metal pipes and fittings. By filling the space between threaded metal parts, they form a flexible seal that prevents leaks due to vibration, loosening, tape fraying, solvent evaporation, damaged threads, and temperature variations.
Designed for both low- and high-pressure applications, these thread sealants provide instant sealing during inline low-pressure testing. Once fully cured, they offer burst resistance equivalent to that of most piping systems. Their high lubricating properties facilitate assembly and prevent thread seizure. For repairs, the components can be disassembled using basic hand tools.
