First Use

Before the first start-up, follow these steps to ensure a safe and optimal start for your MAC100Q compressor.

1. Visual inspection: Check that all components are intact and nothing was damaged in transit. Make sure the drain valve is closed before starting.
2. Electrical connection: Plug the compressor into a dedicated 120V circuit if possible. Avoid long extension cords that can cause voltage drops.
3. Start-up: Switch to ON and allow the tank to fill to maximum pressure (135 PSI). The compressor shuts off automatically once pressure is reached.
4. Pressure adjustment: Adjust the regulator to match the requirements of your pneumatic tool. Consult your tool's manual for the recommended working pressure.

Regular Maintenance

Thanks to its oil-free design, the MAC100Q requires very little daily maintenance. A few simple habits will extend its service life.

After each use:

• Turn off power and allow pressure to drop naturally
• Open the drain valve to release condensation from the tank
• Unplug from the power outlet
• Coil the cord using the built-in cord reel

Monthly maintenance:

• Clean the air intake filter by removing and gently blowing out dust
• Visually inspect the condition of the quick connect fitting and seals
• Inspect the overall condition of the protective cage and external components

Safety Precautions

What Is Covered

What Makita will do:

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT cover:

• Normal wear: Worn filters, fitting seals, and wear parts from daily use
• Misuse: Damage caused by exceeding 135 PSI or use not in accordance with the manual
• Physical damage: Drops, impacts, or damage from abusive handling
• Extreme conditions: Damage from excessive moisture, freezing temperatures, or weather exposure
• Unauthorized repairs: Any modification by a non-Makita authorized technician voids the warranty
