First Use

Preparing your new DeWalt electric snow shovel:

1. Handle assembly

First, adjust the height of the ergonomic handle to suit your height by loosening the wing nut on the telescopic tube. Position it at a comfortable height (usually chest level) and then tighten the nut securely. Check that the handle is stable before use. No additional tools are required – assembly takes less than 60 seconds.

2. Inserting the battery

1. Cleaning of the turbine and ejection chamber

With the tool unplugged (battery removed), use a soft-bristled brush to clean the inside of the discharge chamber and the turbine blades.
