Each hammer head contains a cartridge filled with steel shot that creates an anti-rebound effect, cushioning the impact, maximizing force, reducing rebound, and absorbing shock. The handles are reinforced with steel for added strength and feature a knurled texture for a better grip. The flanged back end of the handle provides stability. The round-face model has a steel face and peen, allowing for conventional use in striking punches and chisels, as well as shaping and straightening unhardened metals. The standard one-piece, slim one-piece, and striking-head models feature a durable, hot-poured urethane coating that resists chipping and cracking, is non-marking, and spark-resistant. This hot-poured polyurethane coating also reduces noise when striking metal.
