First Use

Before starting your FP30 pedestal fan, follow these steps for a safe and optimal setup.

1. Base assembly: Attach the metal base to the telescopic pole and ensure all bolts are tightened securely before proceeding.
2. Head installation: Mount the fan head on the pole at the desired height and verify the stability of the assembly.
3. Initial orientation: Select the oscillating position (180 degrees) or lock the head in a fixed direction to suit your ventilation needs.
4. First startup: Plug the 6-foot cord into a standard 120V outlet and start on speed 1 to verify proper operation.

Regular Maintenance

Regular maintenance extends the life of the direct drive motor and keeps airflow at its optimal level.

After each use:

• Turn off and unplug the fan before any maintenance
• Wipe the steel frame with a dry cloth to remove dust
• Visually inspect the aluminum blades for any deformation

Monthly cleaning:

• Remove the protective guard to access the blades
• Clean the 3 aluminum blades with a slightly damp cloth
• Vacuum accumulated dust from the guard and motor using a soft brush
• Check electrical connections and the condition of the 6-foot cord

Safety Precautions

• Do not use outdoors in wet weather: This model is designed for indoor use only and must be protected from moisture.

• Do not insert objects into the guard: The aluminum blades spin at 1,100 RPM and can cause serious injury.
