First Use

1. Preparing the can

Remove the protective cap and shake the can vigorously for 5 to 10 seconds before each use. This step homogenizes the formula and ensures optimal foam quality for effective cleaning.

2. Compatibility Test

Test the product on a small, inconspicuous area of ​​the surface to be cleaned, especially on delicate or antique surfaces. Wait 30 seconds to check for any adverse reaction before proceeding with the full cleaning.

3. Correct application technique

Hold the can upright, about 25 centimeters from the surface. Spray a moderate amount of foam in smooth, even motions to cover the area completely. Avoid over-application, which could leave residue.

Regular Can Maintenance

Can manufacturing defects

Leaks, spray valve failures, or structural defects in the aerosol can caused by a manufacturing defect. Problems with abnormal internal pressure rendering the product unusable under normal conditions of use.

Product formulation defects

Cleaner performance not conforming to the technical specifications published by Zep. Abnormal separation of components or alteration of the formula under normal storage conditions respecting the manufacturer's recommendations.

Labeling or packaging problems

Illegible labels preventing correct product identification or missing safety information. Packaging damaged during manufacturing causing leakage or contamination before first use.

What Zep and Polar Industrial Equipment will do:

Replacement of the defective product with a new unit of equivalent quality. Full refund of the purchase price if replacement is impossible or unsatisfactory. Return shipping costs for defective products will be covered according to our claims procedures.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT cover:

❌ Normal wear and tear of the product

Gradual decrease in contents with normal use. Pressure loss in the last 10 percent of contents. Natural reduction in effectiveness after opening and exposure to air.

❌ Damage caused by misuse

Use on incompatible surfaces despite warnings. Application under extreme conditions is not recommended. Mixing with other chemicals against instructions. Modifications or alterations to the can or spray system.

❌ Poor storage conditions

Exposure to extreme temperatures below 0°C or above 50°C. Storage in humid environments causing corrosion. Storage beyond the stated expiry date. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

❌ Physical damage and impacts

Drops, punctures, severe dents compromising structural integrity. Damage during transport after delivery. Vandalism or improper handling. Attempts to open or modify the pressurized can.

❌ Damage caused to treated surfaces

Discoloration, stains, or damage on incompatible surfaces. Reactions on porous or non-recommended surfaces. Damage resulting from failure to perform a compatibility test. The warranty covers the product itself, not the surfaces to which it is applied.
