RECOIL™ Helically Wound Threaded Inserts strengthen threads and extend thread life. Installing a RECOIL™ insert allows for more even load and stress distribution. Each insert distributes the load throughout the bolt and hole, improving holding power and pullout resistance. RECOIL™ inserts are manufactured from type 304 stainless steel wire rolled into a diamond-shaped cross-section.
- Made of stainless steel
- Work hardened to a tensile strength greater than 200,000 psi
- FOD-free design: no tabs to break, retrieve, or lose.
