The CHANNELLOCK® 911 24 cm (9.5 in) wire cutter is made of enhanced high-alloy steel for added strength and durability. It easily cuts battery cables and other soft metals, up to 4/0 aluminum and 2/0 copper. This cutter is not designed to cut steel or ACSR. The CHANNELLOCK® 911 is made in the USA and forged from high-alloy steel with a special coating for superior rust protection.
