First Use

Before first use of your DCD805B:

1. Visual inspection: Verify that the chuck rotates freely and the mode selector (drill, hammer, driver) clicks into each position properly.

Regular Maintenance

• Wipe the housing with a dry cloth to remove concrete or wood residue.
• Check that the chuck firmly retains drill bits. If grip weakens, clean the chuck jaws.
• Remove the battery if the tool will not be used for more than 24 hours.
