First Use

Follow these steps before first use to get the most out of your Milwaukee M18 FUEL kit.

1. Charge the batteries: fully charge both M18 REDLITHIUM batteries with the included multi-voltage charger before first use.
2. Insert the bit: open the drill chuck or insert the 1/4 in hex bit into the impact driver depending on the tool used.
3. Check the rotation direction: confirm forward or reverse before starting, especially for removing screws.

Regular Maintenance

Simple care preserves the performance of both tools over the long term.

After each use:

• Remove dust and debris built up on the chuck and housing.
• Store the tools and batteries in the included contractor's bag.
• Check the condition of the chuck and bits before every project.

Battery management:

• Rotate the use of both batteries for even wear.

What Is Covered

The Milwaukee warranty covers the following components in case of a manufacturing defect:
