- The main vials are rectified and graduated to an accuracy of 10 seconds; one division is equivalent to 1/2 thousandth (0.0005) of an inch per foot, or 0.04 mm per meter.
- Main vials with 7 graduations on each side of the bubble
- The auxiliary level vial shows the lateral position and is useful for horizontal adjustment.
- Level vials positioned to minimize breakage
- Once set, the adjustment is reliable to prevent any tampering.
