First Use

Activating your new Zep 45 Dual Force aerosol:

1. Product preparation

Shake the aerosol can vigorously for 10-15 seconds before each use to homogenize the PTFE particle suspension. Remove the protective cap and check that the integrated precision nozzle is clean and clear.

2. Spray test

Perform a test on a non-critical surface, holding the aerosol can upright at a distance of 15-30 cm. This allows you to check the spray pattern and expel any residual air from the valve system.

3. Inspection of the application area

Examine the surfaces to be treated and remove excessive accumulations of dirt or rust with a wire brush if necessary. Zep 45 will dissolve light residues, but prior cleaning optimizes penetration on severe corrosion.
