Blue blocker:

• Issue – Prolonged exposure to high-energy visible blue-violet light (380 nm – 450 nm) can cause eye strain, headaches, mood swings, and sleep disturbances such as insomnia. Sources of this exposure include the sun, computers and portable devices, and LED lighting.
• Solution – Safety glasses that absorb most of the blue light without impacting color perception. Avatar blue light blocking safety glasses provide 59% absorption of high-energy blue light from 380 to 450 nm according to ANSI, while maintaining an average VLT (visible light transmission) of 88%. In addition, these lenses provide 99.9% UV protection.
